Job Description
The Swim Lessons Coordinator will assist in overseeing the swim lessons program, ensuring a safe, educational, and enjoyable experience for all participants. This role includes helping with the planning, scheduling, training, and supervising of swim instructors, maintaining safety standards, and promoting the swim lesson program at the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre. The coordinator will work closely with families, instructors, and management to provide high-quality lessons that meet the needs of swimmers of all skill levels.
Required Qualifications
- College or University degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in supervisory role in aquatics setting
- Minimum 3 years experience working in the aquatics industry Required: Current Standard First Aid with CPR-C, National Lifeguard Certification, Lifesaving Instructor Certification, Swim Instructor Certification
- Preferred: Current First Aid Instructor, Lifesaving Instructor Trainer, Swim Instructor Trainer an asset.
- Computer experience (Microsoft Office, CRM software, data entry, database use, working in a networked environment)
- Clear communication skills, both written and oral
- Clear/no relevant information from a VSS check/Criminal Reference Check
- Ability to legally work in Canada/Ontario/for the MNjcc
