Job Description
The HR Manager will provide a wide range of support and administrative activities to ensure smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions to employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
- Provide recruitment (i.e. job postings) and administrative support
- Assist in drafting new staff contracts and staff discipline
- Compile and update employee records
- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations etc.)
- Coordinate HR projects (training etc.)
- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, policies and regulations
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, leaves, increases etc.)
- Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
- Assist in scheduling staff and supply staff
- Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
- Update the Employee Handbook
- Ensure adherence to all Swim Time policies and practices including Health and Safety, HR and any additional that are applicable in your role.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.

- Ability to work some nights and weekends (on a rotating schedule)

Required Qualifications
- University degree or college diploma Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 2 years Human Resources and administrative experience
- Aquatic experience preferred
